It's raining in November

Yes. I organized my bookcase by color. Red orange yellow cream green cyan, blue purple black, multi silver gold black.
I have read all of these books, and I have looked at their covers. I can still find one if I want it. But they do look nicer in the room now, less like a little doomish corner of chaos and entropy and more like the sparkly rainbow dreams they are.
Cheddar cauliflower soup, topped with blue cheese, accompanied by seed bread toasts. From Soup of the Day by Williams Sonoma (a birthday present from my mummy). It was absolutely delicious, just the right texture and a bit salty and creamy without being heavy or weird.
Asparagus and Brussel Sprouts, from here with sliced almonds, bacon and pomegranate seeds, except I substituted golden raisins at the last minute, despite having the fresh pomegranate seeds. It's a little weird chewing the seeds, and unreasonable to try to spit out the seeds when they're in with everything else.
The new cast iron skillet is working out! It's just fun to cook in. Things don't burn. They brown, if you give them enough time, but it's an option not a requirement. Fried eggs this morning didn't quite work as well--they weren't presentable, but they still tasted good.
There are still strawberries! That big one on the left we've since picked. Very sweet! Strawberries on the table for Thanksgiving? Doesn't sound very traditional.
Just dinking around. This is an onyx carving of a kitty cat, sitting on the front of antique scale.
My dice pouch, in the octagon window. Playing with blur and layer masks.
Empty shelves are great playgrounds.
