Flowers in the Garden

My wreath, a continual work in progress:

I tried using Georgianna Lane's vintage photograph tutorial on it, but... it didn't look so inviting anymore. So here is a more successful experiment:

A lake by where we went camping recently. Fun! And I learned about layer masks, which seem quite useful.
More excessive experimenting...

The neighbor's apple tree, or is it an apple from some celestial realm?
And now flowers from my garden. I finally learned about changing the exposure on my camera. Someday I'll learn about aperture and all that other good stuff.

This is not a flower. It looks a bit like a brown onion. But it is going to be a tulip. It, and59 39 of its brethren. (I got tired of digging holes and excavating new flowerbeds trying to find room for them all. Don't buy tulip packages from Costco.)

I've been working on a queensize quilt. I have a little helper:

This is, believe it or not, progress. I just have to * sew a little, then cut a little, then iron. (Repeat from asterisk until sanity cracks.) Oh, and there's pinning to do at some point. Not the Pinterest kind either.

He's all majestic here. Lies. Cutest kitten ever. Wars would stop if the combatants were made to watch him chase his tail.
