Tea Party
Dear me, it has been a while, hasn't it? All the pink petals have fluttered away and strong green leaves -- and green fruit -- have taken their place on the peach and cherry trees. Let us hope that good things come to those who wait! We have been waiting for a year now with these trees; we planted them last spring.
We killed the grasshopper that was eating all our sproutlings. I say "the" with great optimism that there isn't more than one. Anything that can mow down multiple zucchini plants is voracious.
But! There has been a tea party. I am prepared now to taunt you with visions of warm scones, sandwiches with the crusts cut off, and other delicious dainties. Shall we have at it?
